A Yemeni musician with international appeal
Abdu B tells us about growing up in Yemen where he was discouraged from studying music. Nevertheless, Abdu shares that he was always impressed by music and it was always within him. After war broke out in Yemen in 2015, Abdu traveled to Europe to pursue his dreams and this week released the single, “All I Want” with the support of Seth Goodwin a producer from Washington D.C. Abdu encourages aspiring musicians in Yemen to promote love and peace with their work, and to aim for an appeal beyond Yemen to put the country on the map for a global audience and increase awareness about the crisis.
